The coil edge protector is a protective piece used when packing and strapping metal coils. Placed where the steel strap meets the edge and surface of the coil, it spreads the pressure of the strap and keeps the coil edges from dents, scratches, crushing and deformation.

It sits easily in place on the coil and, during strapping, works as a protective layer between the steel strap and the metal coil. Its flexibility lets it follow the coil edge closely, so the strap tension is never concentrated on a single point.

Besides protecting the coil, the strap guard also keeps the strap itself from being cut by sharp coil edges, making the package safer and more secure.

A practical choice for packing and shipping all kinds of metal coils, it prevents the damage caused by strap pressure and tension.
