The carton edge protector is used to protect carton edges during strapping and palletising. A strap has to be tensioned properly for the load to hold together, but that same tension bites into and crushes the edges of cartons and pallets.

These guards prevent that: they bend to a 90° angle as the strap is tensioned and, thanks to a groove where the strap sits, they stay put, so the goods arrive intact.

The corner protector is made of polypropylene using plastic injection moulding.

Description

Our plastic strap guard replaces plastic and metal corner pieces. It slides easily under the strap and, thanks to its retaining feature, holds its position anywhere along the strap, bends where you need it and keeps the product from being damaged. It is flexible enough to follow sharp corners while increasing the strap’s resistance to tearing.

Dimensions: 11 x 6 cm, thickness 2 mm. Weight: 17 g.
