Plastic Edge Protector (Long Angle Board)

The long plastic edge protector is made of polyethylene and keeps your goods and packaging from being damaged during strapping and transport: fruit and vegetables, cardboard cartons, stone and tile products and much more.

It has two 5 cm legs at a 90° angle and a thickness of 3 to 4 mm. As a packaging accessory, its main job is to protect the corners of packed goods against impact, pressure and scuffing.

Description

Features of the polymer edge protector:

Lower initial stress: once the edge protector sits on the four corners of the load and the straps are tensioned, the whole package holds together and survives handling undamaged.

UV protection: the UV-stabilised compound used in our edge protectors gives them a very long service life and keeps them from degrading in sunlight.

No moisture absorption: unlike cardboard corner boards, the polymer version does not deform in damp conditions such as cold stores, and because it absorbs no moisture it never develops mould or fungus.
